Norinco Upper Complete/and or Full Norinco AR15 rifles advertised as a 20" pencil barrel with 1:9 twist.
It sure as f**k MAY NOT be 1:9 and there are no markings on the Norc barrel anywhere which indicate the twist rate.
I found this out after many months of waiting, working and gunsmithing costs later after my first range trip......
Worked second jobs doing lawns and general handyman stuff after hours to fund this long time dream project.
That's all I'm saying for now until I hear back from them but it's been 3 days now and nothing.
Just beware of this item if you're debating buying it.

Thanks for the heads up, can I ask why all the gunsmithing? Put the barrel on a different upper? Retro clone build?

The Norc barrel came with a circular guard (no go for Triangle guards on my M16A1 clone) and the Norc Barrel nuts are not to spec, they are longer hence the problems people have with fitting NA guards on theirs.
Pins would not budge even after boring out. Had to source a 0.625 gas block with no taper pin holes ($$$) and a triangular cap, ship it to smith, cut off Norc block, replace cap and nut, jig/taper pin drill the FSB to fit the Norc barrel (Tier One are A1 AR15 Armourer Gods by the way, I tip my hat to Dale and Gregg)

That's just the smithing. I also had to pull apart my old rifle, re-install the new barrel, source a new front sling swivel and rivet and install. Also sold off pile of 55gr ammo to buy heavier 62gr FMJ which I now can't shoot in my 1:12 barrel....There's more but you get the idea. I don't remember the last time I was this ####ing angry. 62gr FMJ AE ammo was keyholing at 25 meters when I tried to zero it. At 100 meters it was printing 30" shotgun groups with sideways impacting bullets.
All that said the Norc Barrel shot my last 10 rounds of 55gr Norc Ammo into a 3" circle at 100 meters. So it's awesome accurate and all but I'm right back to square ####ing one and out hundreds of dollars now.
Anyhow, if anyone is reading watch that item on their site and maybe hold back purchase until I get more info on how this happened/how they plan to make this right.
Will be a long wait until the 20th.....

With them, they took
A bunch of my money and all i got were guns and ammo and flashlights that zap things and knives that dont wear out for$10.,,,! Do not trust them!
 
Not to be comical but, this really bad pending situation aside, I've never had a single problem with Canada Ammo in many years.
Plus they you get free targets and they used to give out these cool cheesy M16 pens!
 
They are incredibly helpful and stand behind their products, I'm talking 1950's era the customer is always right class. Unbelievable service+++++

Yes since when did they get more 522's I'd buy another ASAP I freefloated mine glass bed everything including filling in the crazy bolt hole and gave it a textured paint job. Looks fantastic and deadly accurate
