Ok this has been bugging me, and I assume that you really don't assume that since you pay taxes the military should be on call for you.

your taxes, the little that does go to the military, you should just consider it as your payment for your freedom.

with 20 years service I find the whole "I pay taxes so really I'm your boss" very offensive. Even more so when some 20 year old gets in my face, not saying that your a little punk. Just in general I find it offensive.

So the CF wanted to buy a Colt product and they said no? What was their reasoning for that?

Canada demanded that the C7 be made in Canada, thus Dimaco (SP) was created to manufacture the C7 under license from Colt.

Which wouldn't be a problem if the CF wasn't using ultralight weight Mattel furniture, screwing all the balancing and making the rifle all front heavy.
