Did Anybody try canam 9mm reloads yet
Ordered, haven't shot yet. I suppose the ones who are good will go bang most, if not all the time.
However, the quality isn't there. From bulk, I put all my ammos into empty 50-rounds box for convenience. Out of 1000 rounds I bought:
-10 are missing (only got 990 total ammos. Not so bad, but normally on bulk they throw a couple extras just to make sure);
-3 weren't crimped correctly, the bullet fell off. So I found 3 bullets, 3 primed cases and powder spilled in the bag;
-12 are not a correct OAL. I'm not saying 0.001'' too short or too long, I'm saying 12 rounds are so small or so long that you can easily see with your eyes that they won't fit in any gun. I'm gonna pull the bullets out of these, flush the powder, and just consider them like primed cases and 124gr bullets ready for reloading.
So if every round that looks ok are actually ok, then that's 975 rounds for the price of 1000. Nothing to cry to your mama, but definitely doesn't deserve a medal either.
Considering the minimal saving compared to the IMI or PMC when they get one sale, I won't buy them anymore. I have enough stocked that I can wait out for a sale. On sale the IMI are 300 or 306$, while the canam reloads are around 280$. I'd rather pay the extra 20-25$. I've also bought remanufactured ammos from another dealer that were in boxes, had only 1 bad round out of 1000 (a 9x21 case had slip through), and were only marginally more expensive (like 5$ for 1000).
My 2¢. Maybe that was just bad luck on my part though.
