Canada Post Love-Hate and All Things "Shipping" Thread

I'm surprised that you would comment on a trader rating feedback post since you gave 2 negative's last year and you also have the false "stolen" rifle accusations you filed against IRUNGUNS only a week or so ago to account for......... I guess all must have been forgiven, eh ?

HE!! ya, ain't we spossed to?

He mentioned "bud", bud.

Send him sum............

The chit that gits typed awn here...........jeeeesh.

Ground only has always been a policy, it's nothing new.

Anyone remember the guy sending a g19 express post last year only to have it missing? Someone scanning the packages at the airport must have picked it up and it was never found

I spoke with a rep from CP. He had no idea whether or not there's an issue shipping via Xpost. A bit of internet searching did yield some mixed information, but it does appear that long guns are to be shipped Ground only. The CP rep did confirm that the rifle was on a truck as far as Winnipeg, and that it's now off the radar. It was shipped on Tuesday morning, and by this time, it should be further along. Hoping CP is just late this time.

P.S - if it is marked as a firearm it might be on it's way back to the sender... CP's new policy on firearms is that they MUST be shipped regular post with signature required... Xpress Post is no longer an option for firearms... some pissy CP worker might have caught that and sent it back.

Do not send by Xpresspost!

Xpedited, ground only with signature. (proof of delivery)

If somehow the package made it to the airport, it will be scanned.

The package would then be held and if nobody raised a royal stink, it may go on by ground, but usually, return to sender.

I once saw a handgun found in Xpresspost on it's way to Pearson Airport, next stop was Canada Post Corporate Security and then on to RCMP.

It may take a while.

There are a lot of delays that are caused by improper packing.

If the package opens up, it could be held for repairs, but not always.

If it's a quick tape job, on your way.

I deal with these all the time.

Just to give you some numbers, Canada Post here (Toronto) deals with about 30-40,000 packages each day from China.

Nation wide, there stats are pretty good for delivery compared to others.

Kurgan: If it makes you feel any better Loomis just lost, and then found a $1000. clutch I had ordered for my truck. It was off there tracking radar for 7 days. They found it in Toronto and I live in NW Ontario, it was shipped from BC. I thought Canada Post could only make shipping errors this dumb, but from the looks of it Loomis is trying to best Canada Post in the dumb department. I have been promised my clutch will be here early in the am. We shall see.

Hope your parcel shows up my friend, better late than never.
