Don't mail firearms Express Post or Priority by CP, they will not put them on aircraft...If they are aware of it being a firearm that is....Mail Expedited with sig with insurance and you shouldn't have a problem...and make sure you get your Postal codes right...a lot of clerks don't have a clue about geography and will go by the PC only instead of the city so if somebody has said a P instead of a T then it's going to Ontario instead of Alberta...I see these errors five or six times a day on my regular shift.
BTW, look at my trader rating...all but one were firearms...Never an issue, never a hassle...BTW if you ship a lot get a Canada Post Venture Card and save money. If they ask about your business just say yep it's my business.
Oh yeah and I get tired of these Canada Post rants because 99 percent of the time these issues could have been prevented...and just so you all know at least six other guys and one lady on my shift are gunowners/shooters..I work in a rather small plant and yet I can say we probably sort ten to twenty firearms a shift...depending on the season of course.
