Canadian Made Swiss Arms AR Lower

You guys managed agency sales to Euro LE? I'm impressed. Did they just want the ability to use AR stocks and mags badly enough to replace their stock lowers?

We did. I will ask permission to post pictures. On our G36 magwells, we have them in service in 4 countries, some are even in use in Afghanistan.

As a purchaser of two of these units, was there an intended aim to prevent the use of P-Mags, without the need to either dremel the s**t out of the mags or the magwell?

Just got off the phone from Jeff at NEA...
He feels that the P-Mag issue may be a problem with some versions having a wider spine than others....
My metal (aluminum/steel) mags seem to fit without any issue.
He is going to assess a couple of my mags and determine what the issue is.

Kudos to him on two levels...
First of all, being willing to commit the time, and $, to making this happen at all, and second, providing outstanding follow up and willingness to make it right.
I am happy that my problem was accepted, and addressed (at the speed of light!), and am looking forward to a resolution to this issue.

I have been a very satisfied customer of NEA products in the past, and can't say enough about how this issue has been recognized, and addressed.

I just talked with Jeff at NEA; I grabbed several Pmags and I have a few of an early series of windowed pmags that do not fit. All others do. There appears to have been a design change to the top end of the mags going forward from the early mags.

These mags can be identified by a smaller indicator window and no round numbers beside the window.

The solution is a very quick "Manual adjustment" to two areas in the magwell (corner breaks) with a file. I'm sure that NEA will just address this in programming.

I would say to their customers that if you have these older mags you'll have an issue. I checked every other mag trype in our inventory and found no other issues.

Aside from this issue.. This lower is bad assed. I can't wait to get it into paint so it matches the twins.

Quote "after all i need to make payroll and feed my family, i would rather hold back a delivery then ship sub par product." ......I really like you NEA, stand up statement! :D Very impressed . Looks like a great product. This is what I have been looking for to buy....a Sig Black Special with your parts. Just to be clear do you now have a railed for end, co-witness height mount and the AR15 mag well lower end now available? If so where would I purchase all components from?

thank you.

While i'm sure we are more frustrated with the delays then anyone else on this board, after all i need to make payroll and feed my family, i would rather hold back a delivery then ship sub par product. This has been a large project for us that has a lot of our resources tied up, so the fact that we have held back instead of seeking a quick pay off should tell you something about NEA's standards.
