Canadian suppliers list :.223 rem and 5.56mm ammo updated

I would steer clear of More Guns Supply out of Winnipeg. Placed an order the beggining of March. He charged my credit card the first week of March saying it was in the mail the following week. Have yet to receive it. Won't return calls. Had to dispute it with Visa.

Drop me a PM, I think I have some or can get it. I usually stock it....just not on the website.

Yeah that guy is a POS

Old crappy tire in Charlottetown has stated stocking .223 and .22-250
They finally realized that in a province with a .22cal restriction on coyotes(the largest game around here) that maybe they should stock ammo that hunters can use locally, not all .30cal ammo.

Only thing I recall seeing is the 40rd white box Winchester .223 for $28.something

Wow, I just remembered that I seen those black 'tactical' boxes of .223 in crappy tire as well. American Eagle I think, for around $10/20rds
Yep, PEI Canadian Tire is now selling FMJ .223 ammo. The times, they are a changing.

Viking police supply lists the ammo on their website, but when I have tried to order ammo from their website before, they emailed me back to say it wasn't available. I cancelled the order and asked them to email me when it was available, that was about six months ago and no email yet. To their credit, they didn't charge my card before they emailed me about it being unavailable though.

What I was trying to order was Hornady TAP in 9mm, but I have to assume it will be a similar situation for all their ammo.

Dude, you want ammo, then the ammo source (SFRC) or Canadaammo are the first places you should be looking. SFRC normally has TAP in stock

yeah, I wanted to go with Viking because they are a local dealer, save shipping and support locals. They didn't have it, so I got speer gold dot from Canada Ammo, and have ordered .223 and a mix of zombie ammo from sfrc.

i have acsess to .223 , 1000 rounds for 350 bucks, $175 for 800 rounds of 7.62x39, and all pistol ammo is under $20 for a box of 50, contact me directly if you are interested, only in the greater edmonton area, sorry cant shipp anything, its my personal contact but willing to order larger quanitys if people want.....

So....a little frustrated with the lack of bulk 62 grain .223/5.56 in BC, let alone Canada.
If anyone knows of a source I'd love to hear about it!
Yes, I realize there are plenty of places that sell 20 round boxes, and yes I've seen the 200 round boxes of 62 and 69 grain stuff but those are 200 round boxes that cost 300 bucks...for 200 rounds...
I wish I had of stocked up on the PMC stuff that ammosource had....
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I am relatively new to shooting and cheap. Just bought a .223 semi-auto rifle and am looking for good price on ammo. I live in Calgary but do visit a friend in the 'Chuck once and awhile. Can you provide some insight into this ammo? Is it factory new or re-loads? Quality? Do you use it and if so any cycling problems? Country of origin? I am comfortable buying 1000 rnds at a time.

Thanks
