Canadian Tire SKS

I highly recommend the McPhillips store in Wpg. The guy in receiving also orders the firearms. He is a firearm enthusiast (gun nut) like myself. He sold me a fine 53 Tula with no refub mark and all matching #'s that he said came from the Ukraine. This was a few years ago and retailers are at the mercy of what the distributor has available at any given time.
Kenaston is sold out. I have to check the one on McPhillips.

I purchased an SKS at the CT Tire in Welland ON about 6 months ago - they had many of them.

All Russian, mine had matching numbers and was in excellent condition. Just ask to go through them all before deciding.

Not quite toronto aboit 45 mins north of there but still no firearms in my Canadian Tire for miles around. Some of them sell ammunition but it's held back in a secret compartment in quiet aisles where only one clerk has the key. I'm not sure why they bother unless there going to do it properly.

Kingston`s Gardiner location has the most guns that I`ve seen in any CTC. double racked on display. usually a few SKSs and at least 1 mosin always in the display. the Dryden location in Northern Ont also sells them, or did a few years ago. last time I was in there they had more milsurps than anything else

Stores that I have been to without any rifles for sale
Richmond Hill
Aurora
Newmarket
Keswick

I can not remember about the Bradford store. The above are the local stores to me which I have been into in the last couple of years. Looks like the periphery area's and the rest of Canada is much more sensible and carries a better inventory.

I was just at St. Catharines store, they got both SKS chineses and Russians in stock. They got mosin Nagants (scoped and non-scoped), Mauser and Yugo K98's and the Norinco k98s in .22Lr

Just scored a 1953 Ishvek laminate all matching except the mag for $209.00 at the Cdn Tyre in St John N.B. [ Fairvale Blvd ] . Included in box was x3 stripper clip / 1x cleaning kit / 1x oil bottle all in heavy cosmo. No sling. Laser etched refirb mark on barrel. Not the quality of a few years ago but still a great shooter.

They still have a few sks, they've thinned out pretty fast there used to be at least 40+ of them. I look at them pretty much a few times a week since I drive past daily haha.

The glory days for milsurp at Mcphillips are long gone. In 2012-13 it was a buffet of primo matching blued SKS', collectible Mosins and many, many SVTs. The last number of years have just been showcase cabinet fillers that pale in comparison.

I bought 2 from Canadian tire locations here in Ontario. I didn't get numbers matching however my friend did get one numbers matching, lots of fun to shoot

Some at Duncan store on Vancouver island. Picked up one at Victoria store about year ago, # matching $209. Clerk was very helpful and picked out a good one from back.

The Canadian Tire out in Cochrane, AB has Mosins, SKS's, PU Snipers, 98k Mausers, M38's. Decent selection, SKS's are half finished for some reason but only 2 bills, so not a bad place to scoop one to play with.
