canadiantire sells sks

I was at the large CT on Gardiners in Kingston back in the Fall, they have a rather large firearm section and apparently had crates and crates of sks's for 199 each.

Wish they were so giving here. I think I was a kid last time I remember CT selling firearms, must have been mid-late 80's when they decided to only sell ammo in my area.

did my part related to CT selling guns here in Lethbridge and across Canada. Was told directly by the store managers for both of them here that it is not in their best interest at the moment to sell... and no future plans either. so I went online and tried to see if the online site had any real long arms or others on it. It of course does not. That is when their little survey thing popped up.. and I put in the comments why I was not buying and what I was searching for while pointing out that CT stores can and do carry firearms.

Fantastic, great Idea, If we all do that, in areas that don't sell firearms I believe it will help. We have to show them it is in their best interest!

I called most of the stores in the nagara/haldimond/Hamilton area yesterday. One store, caledonia i think, said they sold firearms, when I asked what they had in stock she said "I don't know all sorts of guns" after further discussion, I discovered she considered air soft to be firearms. The one in Grimsby claims to sell firearms, but she didnt check what they had for me so I'm guessing its the same scenario.then I called a local gun shop and they have quite a few sks' all Russian, chrome lined, $199.

Just got back from Freddy and the trip was well worth it.Went to the Canadian Tyre uptown and there they were all 20 of them in a cage with the crate on the top. A fresh supply of SKS RIFLES!As I oogled in awe I noticed the price has gone up to $179.99 [bummer ] but wait what is that over there in the gun case yup x2 SVT40 rifles. Got the gun dude to open up the case and I was right it is a 1942 with a navy stock milled to take a scope mount and a 6 port muzzle brake.Checked the tag and it was $269.00 SOLD! The gun dude said there was xtra bits out back that came with it sling/ pouch with various tools/ammo pouch/oil bottle. But wait thats not all x3 more crates of SKS rifles and the ctate [ minus one ] of SVTs.Got to look at all the rifles and there is x1 more navy stock one and a good mix of 6 port and 2 port versions. There is no sign of cosmo but they are very oily [a goot thing ]Also there was a box of 25 Tapco black 5/20 round mags for the SKS at $27.00 each! The gun dude said they got other bling bits comming in and crates of ammo too. Can't wait to shoot her! Just showed my FAC and he recorded the serial # [ of the rifle ] on a generac sheet wrapped it in a garbage bag and walked me to the service desk to pay and I was out the door! Too easy.I got to start travelling with a cun case and trigger lock.

haha i was just gonna type that they put them up to 199 and right now 20 dollars off and seen the svt's nice looking guns.

The one on queen and airport road has no guns, but they hardly have knives! I think there is a bylaw in this particular area banning gun sales,, not sure. They do sell gun safes and cases! Wanna get back to Halifax and see who has them there if any!

Barrie has them for $199 sks and svt... I don't know much about these rifles but I'm quickly gaining interest.

I checked again today its $199 for sks and 299 for the svt, sorry. I'm new to the brand. I must say tho I am very interested in the different stocks that are available.
