CanAm or Marstar?

I have purchased from both vendors in the past and satisfied with both. Last order was a M305 socom from Canam, this time from Marstar. For the people that say that the free shipping was the closer, you do realize the final price to your door is cheaper from Marstar? It really comes down to quad rail or not.

I'm not so sure about that. Taxes are only 5% with Can Am versus 13% with Mar Star; that's $48 in your pocket, and shipping is free with Can Am. In the end, for us Ontario residents, I imagine the final price would be very similar. Nevertheless, it is a fantastic deal, no matter which vendor you buy from. And, in the end, had they announced the sale at the same time, I still would go with Can Am for the quad rail as again, the total price for each would have been so close as to be a coin toss.

ETA: oh, and don't forget the roll of free zombie targets that Can Am provides as well.

I bought a handgun from Marstar once. I never knew they open the cases, take a mag out, and then re-sell it separately. It was clearly listed as coming with 1 mag, so its not a legal issue but they will never see a penny from me again.

I doubt the 30 bucks they got was worth that customer never returning, but whatever.

The offer they are running on the Norinco M4 is with Two 5/30 Mags.

$588.91 all in shipped to BC from Marstar.

5 days since order was placed, processed by the CFO and shipped.

Enough said.

If an Ontario resident, your cost for just the gun would be a hair under $600. Then there is shipping and the tax on that. For an Ontario resident I think the total would be just a few bucks less than the $629 that Can Am charges everyone in the country. Nevertheless, both are great deals.

Go with CanAm - no shipping fees (Marstar is usually an arm + a leg back west) and their owner doesn't act like he's doing you a favor by selling you something. Just all round great service from them.

Went with Marstar. Ordered Monday, processed Tuesday, approved and shipped Thursday. Should be here by next Wednesday. $40 cheaper than Can Am.

Didn't get a rail, but since these things are personal preference, I prefer to see accessories in person before I buy and install them, so I feel no loss.

Thanks for the info Tengoo. For me it's an $80 difference between the two, but it's nice to have a factory installed rail. If these were non-restricted, I would buy two or three of them.

you know whats strange, when i picked up my SAM 1911 from Wolverine it only came with 1 mag.
didnt think anything of it, until my dad pointed out to me that on the SAM website it states that every gun of theirs is shipped with 2 mags.
so im thinking this taking out a mag and selling them separately may not be a Marstar only thing.

back to the OP.
ive picked up i think 3 or 4 from both.
id purchase stuff from either again.
as to the guns, i have both Norincos, the one with the quad and the one without, its all preference.
i use my quad rail gun more then my other.

I can guarantee that Wolverine Supplies never remove magazines from firearms unless we are replacing them with a superior product and the same quantity.

OK, so they sold the 1911's cheaper than anyone else at the time, and they came with one mag. Nork mags are garbage, so would you rather have the extra mag at a higher cost? I literally throw them in my junk drawer and will salvage the springs if I ever need a spare.

i totally trust you guys on that.
ive had nothing but perfect deals with Wolverine.
im just stating that SAM states they ship all guns with 2 mags.
now that i think upon it since you guys order directly from them you probably specify exactly how many of what gun you want and what all accessories if any you want with them and probably have them shipped with 1 to keep the cost of them down or something like that.
if not you should mention it to the SAM rep.
get him to cut you guys a discount and pass it on to me(us) :D
