Case Lots of 223 AMMO...

Life sucks, and then you die.

Take your pick guys, would you rather there be relatively cheap ammo that some lucky SOB (perhaps you) sees and buys 10 cases of? Or would you prefer the stores to jack the prices up enough to find the true spot in the supply demand curve where ammo is still being sold, but doesn't get sold out?

I don't shoot alot of 223, but I've stocked up on a few thousand rounds. I'd rather pay what it's worth now, rather than what it might be worth later. I agree that hoarding is a strong word, but if you call me an ammo hoard it won't hurt me. Me not buying up as much as I can, and leaving some for those that can't afford to hoard, doesn't mean that the price won't go up anyways.

I caught an ammo pig going after my 223!

.223

Dont forget to pick up your 223 brass before some one else does. Eventually you are going to need it cause we will have to reload 223.

Next time Bass Pro has cases of 223 in stock i will be there hoarding it....
First come first serve. Get it while you can.

We just got the bill for some Federal ammo. It's wild.

Was it a over a year ago already we were being accused of highway robbery for selling 55gn WWB 223R1 50packs at $270/K? ;)

We'll now... Nov 20, 07.

...62gn 223FMJ available in stock at the low low price of...

(sit down now)...

$490/1000.
and...

we've been told (again) that it's going up (again) on the next shipment (springtime).

every time they say... 'and it's going up...' in the last three years, it has.

The 50gn HP (also crimped bullet with cannalure and crimped primer, shoots nicely;)) is $455/K.

In stock!
um... Enjoy! :kickInTheNuts:

I don't even want to put an ad up. $490 for 1K 62GN.

If it doesn't sell... we'll shoot it all anyway. :ninja:

My 2c, if ammo is selling for cheaper where you live, go buy it, it was a LOT cheaper here not long ago.

Hoping things get better, but not counting on it...

Excuse my ignorance, but I am wondering why you folks don't reload for your .223? In theory, you guys should have lots of brass, right? The glory days of "cheap and bulk" ($270 / 1000 - SWEET!!) seem to be closing, and current pricing of factory fresh is close to par with reloads - if not more expensive because reloaders have already paid the GST / PST and HazMat shipping on the components.

I ask because cause I don't know:confused:.
