Cast Bullet ####

is the 500 Jeffery .500 or .510 calibre ?

/

It's .510 calibre. I'll try and push these up to 2300fps. The Blaser R8 has such a perfectly smooth barrel, the finishing is unbelievable. I've never seen a hint of leading in it. And this alloy is a notch above hardball but for the life of me I can't remember the mix.

The final product, 470 grains and sized to .5115"

Thats excellent powder coating, what powder and method?

Princess auto black, shake in a Tupperware container for 15 seconds, pick them out by a grease groove with tweezers, give the tweezers a tap on the edge of the bucket with the bullet upright and then upside-down, place them upright on parchment paper in a pie tin and cook them in a toaster oven at 400°F for 12 minutes. Remove and pour cold water into the pie tin to cool them.

405 grain Lee HB for my 1873 45/70 Springfield Trapdoor. With smokeless no lube with Goex add lube. Work very well.

Well, I was home by myself for New Years Eve so what's a guy to do but heat up the Master Caster and start dropping bullets. I ended up with about 1400 rounds of my 130gr. .38 RNFP bullets. Now to hit them with some Tool Blue or Traffic Red.
