The round count is well north of 2500 and I haven't had an issue since I threw away the POS magazine that came with it.

I had to modify the Fenix a bit for it to sit tight in the TMF, but a couple wraps of electrical tape was all that was needed. I found a piece of mylar heat shield on the job one day and I ended up trimming it and installing it between the barrel and the Fenix.

To be honest, my install of the pressure pad felt a bit "Bubba" as I couldn't source the appropriate hardware and was forced to employ zip-ties and heat shrink... but then some real deal, genuine "high speed/low drag" EPS friends of mine put it through it paces and told me that I had nothing to worry about.

The manual of arms was the hardest part of adjusting to this platform, but after 2500+ rounds, it's second nature to me now.

This is such a rugged, accurate and FUN rifle to shoot that it is always sitting in the back of whatever I'm driving in its tan Pelican 1700 case.

@ 50m... I dunno about you, but I'm happy with that kind of printing...

I mainly run PMAGS, but have an eclectic collection of mags that feed my Federal 55gr FMJ all day long with zero hiccups. Once again, I may add - the magazine that came with it was absolute garbage. It would have been better to come without a magazine rather than have that piece of crap thrown in.

I will continue to advocate to my friends and anyone in earshot concerning the pleasantries of this rifle... once the rather steep entry level price has been breached, of course.

Thanks for stopping and checking my rifle out... as always; I look forward to feedback and suggestions for wringing the absolute most that I can get out of this platform.

thats one big cat!
is it a bob cat?

I'm gonna guess a Maine coon cat.
Nice thread---I gotta take my Tavor out sometime

That's Butch The Cat... and he tips the scales over 20lbs! I'm not sure of his lineage, other than he's a Vanderhoof farm cat... and has even drug a muskrat home once... d-e-a-d-l-y hunter.

Oh my goodness! I love that set up.

Thanks Skeletor... it's been exciting to own a non-restricted, highly accurate rifle from the 21st Century... with quality and purpose made accessories readily available.

My older, 20th century platforms are fun too, but they certainty have their limitations.

I L-O-V-E seeing other builds and taking cues from them, taking to the end user to see what he or she likes.

I'm telling ya... I L-O-V-E bringing my Hebrew Hammer most everywhere I go as folks ALWAYS want to check it out... and for new shooters, there's nothing more exciting that putting that red dot on the pop can, squeezing the trigger and watching that can dance!! East to hold, easy to use and ZERO recoil... most newbie shooters are soon asking when where and how they can get their own...

Muwahahaha 😈 😈 😈

Pretty much stock. The black one is a gen 1.5. The FDE one is a new 2.5 . M21 with bullseye reticle and quick release for both. LMT rear buis for the tan and MI rear buis for the black one. Podium bipod on the FDE. I decided to take it off the 1.5 to keep that one the lightest. Also I liked the black on the FDE. Reminds me of my Cadex two tone. Triggers are stock. I have no issues with the stock triggers. Not optimal for accuracy shooting but I can still shoot them pretty decently.

D.I.Y. .......
I purchased some 3M rubberized grip tape from Ebay ( $ 8 ), then used some " paper " to form the custom shape I needed......measure twice / cut once.
It has been holding up for over year now. I love it.

Sent my EXPS back to eotech for refund, bought a MRO instead. Way nicer and lightened the gun right up.

loving the MRO though and weirdly enough, the long RPM forend with no grip, might try out some handstops, but it is super comfortable to shoot this way.
