CDTSA Multigun *Complete. Score info and video on POST 127

blah blah blah.

i had a great reply but figured your not worth it.... get out of your house and travel around a little..... we enjoy 3gun, we shoot 3 gun, we have TEN matches in a 5 month period. when you can say you even help organize and attend even half that many matches then you may start making sense.

Peace and love, peace and love.

Lets go back to the joy and happiness that is action shooting.

Rules will change in the future, it is part of the evolution, 3GN rules are a good contender. THIS year is not going to change more than what is currently posted. The matches this year are built with FNG's in mind as we do want to encourage more people to pick up the sport. Because of that principle we might do some overly safe things during a match that some might think is silly. But that is because we are taking the lowest skill level into consideration. We don't want to risk a single round going over the berm and leaving the range.... easily shut us down. Milo will be a little different.

(Encourage people new to the action shooting sport but if your brand new to shooting you might want to start off with something a bit more stationary to build the fundamentals)

I'm new to the club and definitely interested in competing. I'll be down to the next match to see how it all works and what kind of gear I'm gonna need to compete effectively.

JoKa,

Hope to be making it up to some of your events this summer. Fingers Crossed! While there have been a couple questions from some gamers, here in Lethbridge last year and this year we have no divisions. You can shoot anything you want up to certain calibers, even .22 and 410 but good luck getting steel to fall. :) The prizes are sweet as our sponsors have been awesome. But no one is winning a car or $25,000 so its all about safety and fun. Love your comment about your shirt! Last years main 3-gun in August I didn't even shoot it because my gear was all loaned out the night before and during the match.

HEY ALL

The perfect round count for the match this coming Sunday is
Pistol 36
Rifle 24
Shotgun 42
Total 102

Keep in mind this is a PERFECT round count.... there are a LOT of tricky shots so budget for a lot more :)

Also, reminder to all, SLINGS are needed on both Shotgun and Rifles. I will have a single point loaner and anyone on my squad can use my 2 point magpul sling. (I am sure that there will be others to borrow too if needed) BUT, if you have a sling, mount it and set it up!

One of the stages is 25 rounds shotgun. Some people might have issues holding that many rounds on their person, but I have a Shotgun MicroRig that I will loan out to who ever needs it for that CoF.

If there is a bit of rain, we are still a "go". If it is a friggen monsoon and we cant keep targets from flying away we will cancel the match and post it on our main website.

Any additional questions? (Without me describing the courses of fire)

Brings up a GOOD point. We have a dualing tree that we are going to be using. Powder Puff loads will not swing the plates. So, bring your "man loads"..... errr....ahhh...... that doesn't sound right....... OH well....

9mm is fine if you favor the edge of the plate. light, no recoil 38 revolver loads have issues.

Also, I would very much like to try the Lethbridge and MedHat matches this year too. (Having a wife on mat leave financially SUCKS though and cuts into the ammo funds)

You should head up north and shoot some of the WRAS matches as well.

A couple of us are going to try and make it down for the 31st.

Yeah, same thing, I would love to, just don't think I can afford the ammo this year.
Someone want to sponsor me? Give me a shiny shirt? (Kidding, I don't want a shiny shirt as it doesn't match the shoes that I like to wear)

Sheppard. We couldn't buy new steel for the Milo location this year.... so if we wanted to do Milo we would have to transport all the steel back and fourth..... I am not going to do that. Not in my Toyota anyhow.

BUT, maybe we can do that for the sept match if someone wants to volunteer a 5ton box truck and a number of strong backs to move the steel to and back again.

Wow, it went quiet as soon as "work" came up :)

Plus side, weather got upgraded to partially sunny. Hope it holds.

I would think there is enough members with vehicles to easily take the steel. Then again, as always, "work" equates to crickets.

Otherwise I could ask my employer if we can borrow the cube van. 8MPG Yay!

Thanks man,

I am pretty sure we will stay at shep this year. But if you want to talk about it come find me on sunday. I will be the one talking way too much with the ####ty Keanu reeves style facial hair that would never qualify as a beard.

Thanks guys.
I will let y'all know when the scores get posted.
(man, did I get sunburnt, I'm a true red neck now)
