Just throwing it out there to see what kind of response I get.
Our club is considering hosting a BP shoot or possibly a rendezvous this summer if we generate enough interest. I will be heading it up and the date is not set yet as it factors on interested numbers at this preliminary stage. We have a large property that can easily handle an event like this. I would like some input from everyone and suggestions on how and different types of categories, disciplines and events should be set. Our club is a two property/range club......so any pistol events would HAVE to be held at the handgun range, but the bulk of all other event (Musket/Rifle) ,BBQ...ect can be held at our rural property. If all goes well I will take this info back to the BOD and post our club name location and link to our website in the near future.
Please give me your thoughts.

Barrie is quite doable for me, the wife can spend the day at Casino Rama if she doesn't want to hang out with gun toting hillbillies (apparently she thinks that one (me) is enough,,, LOL)

As to "different types of categories, disciplines and events" it all fun. A friendly antique pistol competition would be of interest to me.

I'll watch this thread with interest.

As long as I can fit it into my summer schedule, I'd definitely be interested. Towards the end of August would be better for me. July is always way too busy and kinda hot and humid. Not that I would complain about heat right now.

Cool.......were actually more towards Angus/Alliston area but ya 15-20mns from Barrie. As far as camping I'm not sure (due to insurance liability BS)....but I will look into it.

Sounds like fun, I'd be happy to bring up a couple of my smoke poles for some muzzle loader or BPCR events... what kind of distance can your rifle range accomodate?

BTW - Earl Rowe PP is a great place to camp in the area, been there a few times
