How did they select a team since there is no CFSAC?Off NSCC scores?
Never been to Bisley but I been to Arkansas twice.Supposedly AFSAM is the new Bisley.Hotel rooms,good food and treated well.From what I understand Bisley isn't nearly as good as it used to be.No tea with the Queen anymore ;)

The AFSAM is a great shoot; Been there three times.

I was 2nd alternate for one position on the team (placed 3rd in the Navy that year....dropped both rounds at the 100 mound in match 12....fumbled the butt going into my shoulder under the webbing.)

My unit wouldn't submit my name even as an alternate. I was...a *LITTLE* ticked.

In other news, NavalSniper appears to be heading over. I saw his joining instructions the other week.

As BMW mentions,, selection for this years Bisley Team was based on performance on CFSAC 2002 (the last time CFSAC was held). If you didn't shoot CFSAC 2002, then you wouldn't/couldn't have been considered for Bisley 2007. Yes,, Reg or Res,, it is all based on how well you did in CFSAC.

Likewise, for Bisley next year,, you will need to compete in CFSAC 2007 to be eligible for selection.

Edited to add: I believe there are 3 Reserve Force members selected to this years team,, I have the honour of being one of them.

Looking at the advanced letter from DAT, it is obvious that this years CF Bisley Team will also be shooting in LMG, Pistol and Sniper matches.

Could make for an interesting year...
