it's very accurate for my guns. The CFE.223 is easy to find, the cfe pistol , not so easy.... I just found 2 lbs , thanks to a member posting on here.I've been using both as well. These powders are relatively cheap when you can find them and seem to work well. I've mostly used the CFE pistol and it is now my preferred powder for 9 mm. It is a ball powder that dispenses very well and as you've found, it burns very clean.
In my Glock 17 I seem to need loads at the top or slightly over the recommended range to get reliable function and PF - accurate though and no pressure signs.
Now the question is where to find more when my powder is gone.
I put a 100 rnds of .45 LC through my uberti, when I hauled a patch through it ,I think it was even whiter than when it went in..Looking forward to try out CFE Pistol.
Hodgdon reloading data ,site ,has 9 loads for CFE and 45 ACPIs the cafe pistol recommended for 45 ACP? Have been looking for a good clean powder, does the powder fill the case or come close to it? It helps prevent double charges.
I'm only kidding, but ya, the lack of powder is diving everyone to hoarding. No thanks, I don't feel like making their lives miserable fielding calls from guys all over Canada. Besides it only takes on guy to wipe out a stores stock these days.
