CFET BCL Siberian 4000 Round Final Report

I always wonder how many people who are against a particular firearm have actually owned one. I did call out a couple of the most vociferous Siberian opponents on an earlier thread and both admitted that they have never seen a real one let alone, handled/owned/shot. They used expressions like "well everyone knows..." and my "Uncle's friend's cousin third time removed overheard someone in a bar saying...."

It would be great if everyone replying to these threads at least gave an idea of their own personal experience and some idea of their shooting background....

Here's the issue. Most people who are satisfied with cheap stuff aren't the hard core type that use their gear. They are happy blasting dirt and rocks in the bush and have fun, it's a great experience for them.

Then you got the guys that wear out quality kit from training and competition, or even more serious stuff. Those guys know better than to go the cheap route and get the best. So you won't see much feed back from them on budget products.

Seems that many people are emotionally tied to their choice of firearm, same as any mongoloid that's tied to a particular brand of truck, hockey team, etc. I guess that would explain why these same people will defend the reputation of a for profit business for free.

Let me know if you find a business which does not do it for profit but for the better of humanity, thanks in advance.

In reality they just shoot type 81 - if you call that quality, you have low standards.

Well again there are 2 sets of baseless assumptions here:

1. That this thread is anything to do with the type 81 or people who shoot them.

2. That hard core "real shooters" would not buy a Siberian. I did and I have worn out several firearms shooting a lot of IPSC and other competitions over the years.

So my plea still stands. Let's stick to the subject, only provide input on firearms that you personally have experience with and engage typing fingers after engaging brain.

Thanks for the review, appreciate you all putting in the time and money to provide what I view as reasonably reliable information.

I don't own a Siberian, and probably never will. Not because I think they are all lemons, but because I think the risk of a lemon is vastly higher than other, admittedly more expensive alternatives. I will be curious to hear your results on the Raven once tested as it strikes me as having being potentially the best domestically made option but still some reports of issues.
