The OP is ridiculous, but seeing is coming from that #### hole QC I am not surprised. Placing an order on a Friday, before the long weekend then expecting to receive replies immediately, even during the long weekend is ridiculous. Calling a legitimate business "scammers" on a public forum is ridiculous. I can see the OP wringing his hands all weekend long in despair. Really awful customer, nothing worse than a childish customer.

The least the OP needs to do immediately is to change the title of the thread and remove "scammers" label. Or shall we call it libel?

you blame a whole province because of one person post is ridiculous,or sould we call it racist.

Good day, I usually would not get involved in a thread like this but I recently had a very similar experience with a purchase from Italian Sporting Goods. Spoiler: This is NOT A SCAM and they are a reputable dealer.

I purchased an expensive optic during the Boxing Day sale from Italian Sporting Goods. It was my first time ever making a purchase there. I paid by credit card. The payment seemed to go through fine. Soon after (later that day I think) I received a call from a staff member saying that their payment processor had flagged the transaction as possibly fraudulent, had blocked the payment as a precaution, and that a refund would appear on my credit card. The staff member asked me to send the payment by EMT instead.

I had never experienced such a problem before so I was suspicious that something fraudulent might be afoot. I said that I would send the EMT only AFTER the refund was applied back onto my credit card and I asked that he email me the same info that we had discussed on the phone so I would have a record of it, and to help prove that I was indeed talking to somebody who worked at Italian Sporting Goods. The email arrived shortly after our phone conversation.

The refund took a few days to show up on my end. In the meantime, I called my credit card company and asked about the whole situation. They said that the flagged payment had nothing to do with them, and was likely something to do with whatever company the retailer uses to process payments. I was also told that the refund had been applied to my credit card even though I could not see it yet. Once the refund was visible on my end (2 or 3 days later) I still took the time to call Italian Sporting Goods to ask if the staff member I had been communicating with actually worked there and was a legitimate company employee in good standing. In all, I spoke with two different employees over the phone and another by email. They all said that their payment processor sometimes causes payments to be blocked like this. Why? Who knows? Maybe because the purchase was bigger than my average transaction. Just a guess.

I ended up sending the payment via EMT and the scope shipped out the next day. No problem. I asked if the credit card fees that Italian Sporting Goods would end up saving could be applied to my purchase as a little discount to offset the loss of the points I would not receive by paying via EMT, but they said no; because the sale pricing was already so low. That rubbed me the wrong way a bit. On the other hand, one of their staff members had given me excellent customer service, going so far as to compare my chosen optic to others in the display case to help me “shop remotely” with regards to optical characteristics and quality comparisons. That more than made up for everything else.

I am confident that there’s not a scam being perpetrated here.

Same thing happened to me except I told them that I get cash back on my credit card and they actually gave me a slightly better deal to account for that. Still annoying as all hell though. Credit cards offer purchase protection EMT does not.

Same email here from ISG. Had my transaction back on my credit card. Did an EMT and goods are with Canada Post. Even if it's not convenient to use EMT because you are using some kind of protections, there is no problems with these guys.

It's okay to ask the community, but Thread tittle wording should be changed.
