CGN is supporting scammers ? Italian Sporting Goods

I placed an order online to ItalianSportinggoods Friday the 16th Feb for the amount of $ 2614.84.
they took the money of my credit card.
Later that day, i received an email from IGS: Transaction receipt and approved.
few hour later, another email from ( Adam )
saying: supposedly the transaction was flaggeg and I need to send 2709.34 by EMT to mailto:victor@italiansportinggoods.com.
i replied, you already took $ 2615 on my credit card
and now over that you want me to EMT 2710$ to mailto:victor@italiansportinggoods.com

I sent them few emails to refund me, but to this day. they ghosted me.
no reply at all and my $ 2615 is not back.

So ! After 4 + days you have no update ? After posting UP SH*T about a Great store you GHOST us (CGN) now ? Maybe you should just never come back here EXCEPT to Apologize maybe ? JMO RJ
 
I'll add my name to the list of satisfied customers. Never had any issues with them in about 6 years of buying from there. OP a little quick with the post , specially on a long weekend. I know I don't check my work email when I'm off.
No reply from OP after 5 days says it all I think.

they are top notch...ive ordered from them on a weekend to, and like everyone else would rather the item paid for instantly materialized as soon as i pressed the final ok for the purchase, but alas they didn't the 4 times ive bought from them, i think i`m gonna order something again now just cause of this stupid post..lol OP is clearly impatient or just does not understand how online sales tend to work?.. at any rate they are a great store and will buy from them again , ibtl
 
You are another Qc basher. There is plenty of people on CGN who behave like him with dealers. It does not matter were you are from or which Province you live. Go back in your hole racist.

My experience buying many things from Italian Sporting Goods is that they are the opposite of scammers. If you have a credit card problem maybe you should put on your big boy panties and work it out instead of name calling.

As someone who ran an online business until hysterical idiots like this ruined it, I have to say this sort of childish behaviour has a real impact on destroying the community for no good reason.

They will certainly respond to you directly, however as a fellow retailer both on this platform and in this province, Italian Sporting Goods is among the longest established and most reputable dealers in Canada. Period.

The owners and some staff were just at a tradeshow (as were we) as an exhibitor which spanned from Wednesday February 21st (arrival/setup) to Sunday February 25th (booth take-down/departure) and they are closed on Mondays.

While I am certainly not speaking on their behalf, like us they travelled a considerable way back from this show and are dealing with dozens (if not hundreds) of emails/issues since their absence. Assuredly they will respond to you.

Accordingly communication may not be as rapid as you would like. Reading the fact pattern, as a fellow online retailer, what has transpired is not uncommon and not a sign of any sort of dishonesty/scamming given the context of who this dealer is (i.e. an unquestionably reliable and reputable one).

Retailers have unmitigated risk with respect to credit card transactions. We rely upon the analytics and ratings provided by our payment providers and we must follow their recommendation if there are red flags raised about a transaction. Sometimes the flags are false. However if a retailer ignores a warning and there is a chargeback, there is no redress for the retailer: they are out the money and product.

I can guarantee someone (i.e. Joe or Victor) will be in touch and resolve this to your satisfaction.
 
Don't know if anyone else has ever had any online CC purchases flagged or bounced. Totally unexpected, and a pain.

I have had a few over the years. And before anyone gets their nickers tied in a knot, I have awesome credit rating, and it had nothing to do with that. Some CC purchases, out of the ordinary, especially for higher dollar amounts will get flagged. Or even for several out of the ordinary purchases in a row, consecutively in quick succession. Sure beats getting your CC fraudulently being used and having to go through that BS as well. Been there and done that too, and a flag is always easier to deal with than a CC cancellation and new issue card being sent out.

A quick call to the CC company usually straightens that out, and the purchase proceeds.

Never me on my part getting all twisted up and posting a "RANT" post about it, especially on any forums. LOL. Shows our societies maturity level lately. Just sad really!

Never a problem with any of my purchases there, and will continue to support them.

Hopefully we see the guy who started all this come out and give us a quick update, and show us that there are people out there that still want to do right!
 
Op didnt get the response they want, they will not return. This should be locked or deleted if ISG isnt going to respond themselves.
