Toxic. I hear ya on the poor groups. I've been frantically trying to get sub MOA with my .204 with no joy. The lack of loading components is driving me nuts. Yesterday I Ordered 2 lbs or Benchmark from Ellwood Epps in Ont and paid $100 including shipping. I must be nutz.

yes you are nuts. we where planning on staying till tuesday too if it will work, but if not maybe hit my cousins farm in Oxbow on the way home.

At least you are somewhere that has some components (SIR)... there is nothing under 2.5hrs that has any decent selection of bullets... Hell I just paid $34 for a box of 50g Vmax Moly's... just to see if they would shoot. Hopefully Cap can find something in Lethbridge..

At this rate my HMR is much cheaper to shoot than the .223!
 
I want every attendee to be aware that they will be asked to read and sign a letter that basically constitutes these simple rules:

1.) There are to be no loaded weapons in camp. Upon entering camp, all shooters are asked to unload their firearms and open the action.

2.) All shooters must be aware of anybody downrange and keep their fire in safe directions at all times.

3.) The landowner has the right to dictate any and all actions that take place on his land. All in attendance must use respect and treat the property with it.

4.) We ask to keep all shooting near the camp restricted to rimfire and shot shell only, unless otherwise approved by us.

5.) We are not to be held liable in any form for any accidents or issues that may occur over the course of the weekend, or on the trip to or from the shoot.

6.) Unsafe firearms handling and violation of rules will not be tolerated. Anybody not following these rules may be asked to leave.

I don't want to sound anal, but it's very important that everyone follows all safety rules. I know I may be preaching to the choir, but I want every single person to have a good time, then go home safe. If anybody has any issues, feel free to PM me, otherwise the countdown is on, we're under the week and a half mark. Please be sure you have everything you will need for a primitive camping weekend. Bring food, warm clothes, rain gear, bug gear and anything else you will require to keep you happy. Toilet facilities are on site, bring your own paper. Again, we ask everyone brings a bundle of firewood, and the potluck Supper has been cancelled.
