I just had a thought, my M-10(don't know if that is the proper designation), has had the barrel cut back and re-crowned to 24 inches, the barrel was obviously professionally shortened and recrowned and the original foresight replaced properly. To me this means the sight settings are going to be screwed up even if they calculated the proper height for the new position of the front sight(parallax?). I had to crank the rearsight down to zero to get it bang on at 100 yards, last time I had it out. Haven't tried it at a greater range, should try that, if I shot it at 100 and left the setting at 100 it provided something resembling a six o'clock hold.
