Cheap CNC Machine

very interesting......
wish the work space was a tad bigger but ya, lots of things could be made with this little unit.
Briefly checked out the site. I wonder what it costs to add the 4rth axis and if they have a list of tooling availlable and costs.
Probably be double the advertised deal pricing by the time it's all set up and kitted out.
 
The advantage of CNC is making many hundreds of the same thing... not so much one offs...
Strong disagree on that. CNC is great for one-offs that aren't simply square things with holes. I use it for one-offs all the time, and it's dramatically easier than dithering with a manual if the part has many features, or heaven forbid, it has curves.
 
The main selling points for me with this unit is shop footprint and price.
Plus the add ons are pretty sweet. Laser, 4axis, dust collector etc..
