What the hell. For $900 I can make the itty bitty metal bits that I can't find.

Seems to be the machine we have been waiting for. Albeit this unit can do only small ferrous metal parts. Aluminum and soft metals are fine.

wish the work space was a tad bigger but ya, lots of things could be made with this little unit.
Briefly checked out the site. I wonder what it costs to add the 4rth axis and if they have a list of tooling availlable and costs.
Probably be double the advertised deal pricing by the time it's all set up and kitted out.

Strong disagree on that. CNC is great for one-offs that aren't simply square things with holes. I use it for one-offs all the time, and it's dramatically easier than dithering with a manual if the part has many features, or heaven forbid, it has curves.

You don't need to spend $90 000 to get "proper equipment". Used CNC machines can be had for less than $20 000, and they're decent enough for most activities.

No. We can even go four.

Used might be ok. The difference is that firearms are often used recreationally where industrial equipment earns its keep until it is used up

The main selling points for me with this unit is shop footprint and price.
Plus the add ons are pretty sweet. Laser, 4axis, dust collector etc..
