What ammo do you feed your cz 457?

I’m shooting eley benchrest semi auto precision at the moment. It seemed to shoot pretty decent at 100 yards and nothing else was available locally so I bought 1500-2000 rounds of it.

My local store had some tenex yesterfay so I bought a box to compare.

Youth implies 4' top 6'. Keep checking the EE. There is a variation in their production a they are copies of better quality European rifles.

The 457 is an excellent choice os let him shoot yours until he grows into his own or commandeers yours and you upgrade.

As an interim solution I’m going to pull some spacers out of the xrs chassis and see how I shoot with it short and go from there. It’s a bit too much effin around to swap it around between shooters.

Long term the I’m going to have to commit to a proper rifle which will probably be another cz457 in an mdt.

Bummer.. yes the spacers dont lend themselves to quick changes.

Another thought is a slip on recoil pad.... short for the kid, long for you. I have been playing with a limbsaver unit for the AR magpul stocks (likely for hunting stocks) Very easy on and off, strong rubber and about 1" LOP. It fits on the XRS chassis.. just checked.

The version I have has a buttpad length of 5 1/2". Unsure if there are more then 1 version.
