Nice Ontario whitetail. My guess is that the antler was damaged when it was growing, early in the velvet stage.

No one wants mule deer in Manitoba... They knock out the whitetails, weaken the gene pool when bred with resident deer, and next thing you know, youll have to buy mule tags as well
The province has them as un huntable.... In other words, they want them to move in and take over.

I believe its the other way around,a WT can breed a MD doe but the offspring will be infertile.A MD can't breed a WT doe.WT will push out MD populations which is why this year in B.C. they opened up a WT doe season.
If thats true... that white tails are the more aggressive?, then why are mule deer showing up in SW Manitoba?... Theres plenty of white tails to show whose boss.
Wouldn't the white tail bucks send them back west, from where they came, if they were the more dominant deer?....
