Do you guys add any padding/cushion to the cheek rests on your chassis? If so what do you use and how do you attach it? I'm talking about the adjustable cheek rest of a chassis, not a traditional butt stock.
I've done the roll bar pad and hockey tape, the old mouse pad, the wide foam weather stripping too, sometimes even go crazy and cut the ankle part off a new sock to cover it, all work very well. I just thought maybe I'd get a bit fancier this time with it and treat myself to a overpriced commercial built pad that will work no better but look good doing it lol.

I used a black neoprene type mouse pad, cut it to fit the Cadex cheekriser and glued it on with industrial spray glue. Works great.
When it's very cold and my cheek is freezing on the cheek rest I drape my toque over it.
So either your cheek freezes or your head does! Tough call...![]()
