Tactical Tailor MAV for the epic win.
The Service CQB in Ontario requires some running. You don't have the luxury of leaving all your ammo 10m away for the whole course of fire. Ideally, it needs to be on you and ready, as some of the advancing fire matches involve moving forward more than once. For CQB... I would not go for a chest rig... it's over kill.
IMO, a "Sure-Grip Padded Belt" would be the way to go. If you purchase the correct size, it could be placed over whatever you are wearing.
You can mount your magazine pouches on it as well as a leg holster.
A chest rig would be better suited for Service Rifle, wear you need to *run* with your ammo (not simply have your ammo can a few metres behind the firing line).
That said, it is whatever works for you![]()
x2 The Mav is the only way to fly. Split front with X-Harness.
SKD Tactical is another good sight that ships to Canada but I would go to DS Tactical first.
