Paint Job
This is the paint job I have done to my rifle:

I used Rustoleum paint. The final finish is only the self etching primer, because I had compatibility issues with the camouflage paint. The primers color is great, it's a green/grey with no light reflections.

Before painting the rifle I removed the finish because it was peeling and very ruff. The original paint that is used is powder coat and is very hard to remove, so I had to use aircraft paint stripper (I tried regular stuff and it doesn't cut it).

Here are the stripped parts:

The receiver on this rifle is die cast zinc, so once stripped if you don't want to paint it would be very easy to polish to get a chrome like effect. I have done this before on Cooey shotgun trigger guards, looks good but oxidise after a while to a more grey color (like copper looses it shine).
All the blued parts were wiped down with a 50/50 Varsol/Boiled Lin Seed Oil and let to dry to help prevent rust (oil must be used over BLO because it is not a waterproof finish).
So tell me what you guys think!
