Hi everyone,
I just picked up the Chiappa "Little Badger" in .22LR.
Fun little gun that already has a decent user Mod history. I'm going to probably spend more time modding this one then actually shooting it.
I'll be adding my pictures and methods as I get each mod done. I hope other people will share their pictures and mods here as well.
I'd love to see what other people are doing with this Gun!

First picture and first little mod.
I thought I would see how this scope looks... not going to keep it though unless I can find a long eye relief adapter for it.
First mod is replacing the crown protector. They were over zealous when they put threads on the barrel. Has almost a centimeter more
threads than average. What I did was use a copper pipe cutter(easiest way to get a strait cut) to cut the plastic crown protector that came with it.
Take it slow this is hard plastic and easy to break if you cut it too fast.
This way I don't have any threads showing between the muzzle brake and the front sight.
I have some black type 4 paracord on order and some Black Micarta for future mods. I have a few ideas to try out with the rail behind the trigger.
I hope to share some results soon...

I have the frame for the pistol grip finished, next is to wrap the grip and stock in Paracord. I have 100' -- probably way too much but I'm going to try to get all 100' on the gun some how.
i just like the idea of having 100' for emergency survival use.

It is coming along, 1/2hr a day on my lunch break-- and I'm slow at this stuff(my first time working with paracord).

Well not bad for my first try with paracord, fairly rough around the edges but I managed to keep my goal of using all 100' of cord with no cuts.

I started with the middle of the cord at the tip of the grip and worked my way through to the stock using a variation of the process in a Youtube video titled "Chiappa Little Badger Paracord Stock Wrap (HD)"

then did some random wrapping around the butt and started the strap using the process in the Youtube video titled: "A Simple Means of Attaching Buckles to a Paracord Tie by TIAT"

I made the strap extra long to use up more cord. Once the length of the strap was finished I folded the strap to shorten it and then used the same style of weave(but with about 2"spacing) to go
back up the length of the strap(with tighter spacing around the folds). Then tied it off at the clasp.

Or you could put a roll of paracord in your pocket....wouldn't that be more user friendly?
Ya but where would be the fun in that? I'll probably never have any need for paracord, but now I have a use for it until the day I may possibly need it...
