Chiappa Rhino...a revolver I actually WANT?!

I dunno about .22lr, only if it was at a decent price...

.357 is what I'd like to see.

That and I'm still wondering about cost...seems the 5" are around $900 USD! :(

Nice girly gun!

Thanks for posting. I like it too... the grip is ###y-hot!
I'd take the .22lr in any config :D

.357 if they can do a 4.2" ;)

Stainless in both please.

It looks like Stainless and Black are actually made differently. The black has machine screws/bolts along the side as well as a pinned front sight blade.

Email sent inquiring about availability and actual barrel length on 4" model (could it be 4.2") ;)

.357 in 4.2" would be the dream combo breaker.

.22lr would only appease me if it was priced appropriately to make up for its lack of chest hair inducing magnum fun.

The Chiappa Rhino is a revolver produced by Chiappa Firearms of Italy chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge. Its main distinctive feature is that the barrel is on a low axis compared to most other revolvers, since it fires from the lowermost chamber of the cylinder, rather than firing from the topmost chamber. This is intended to reduce muzzle flip by directing the recoil into the shooter's wrist, rather than over it.

Design details
The frame is made of Ergal (an aluminum alloy), while the barrel, cylinder, and other vital parts are made from steel. The trigger may be used in either single-action or double-action mode. The external cocking lever is not actually a hammer, as on most revolvers. Instead, it is used to #### the internal hammer and then falls back into place, minimizing the number of externally moving parts, but making the revolver more complicated internally. The gun is available in blued and stainless versions.

there's clearly a few different revisions of this revolver based on the inconsistencies between pics... some have the crazy screws all over the side and pinned sight blades, others do not.

Anyway, I guess a 5" would be acceptable ;) (sure beats a 6")

Here's a stainless 5"

Nice pics on the gun (the writer is not too "with-it" though):

Looks absolutely hideous, and I want it. >=)

The 6" model looks just right. Am I the only one here who likes longer-barreled handguns?
