Over Under or Side by Side... can't it be both?
It can indeed if you're running the Chiappa Triple Threat!
Coming in at just 30" overall length, this is a very wieldy gun perfect for tight spaces in the bush or indoors.

Though the trigger system is single mechanical, this shotgun will put rounds down range as fast as you can pull the trigger, easily capable of all 3 in well under a second. At only 6.5 lbs it makes a capable backpack gun for keeping safe wandering the wilds, or as a backup to your primary hunting weapon. It's also just about the best thing going in home defense, and ships cross Canada at our standard $10 rate, come check it out!

Home Defence? How's that gonna look as exhibit A, when your on trial for harming a home invaded?
"But judge, it's just my goose gun. I can get my limit with one pull of the trigger."

So is the barrel fixed to the receiver or does it breakdown like a normal O/U?
Does it have a rear site?
The front one looks high...
With 3" slugs does it group, and at what distance?
It definitely has some interesting features but at that price it is beyond a novelty and needs to be a reliable tool to have value, IMO.

I have found that some of these 12" barrel break action shotguns are quite difficult to open and ####, since not as much leverage as with the longer barrels. I wonder how easy it is with the triple threat

Shorter, lighter and triple the price is more like it.
