Chiappa Triple Threat is BACK, Shorter, Lighter, and Threatier....

Interesting novelty, until I saw the price!

yep..that's exactly what I was thinking....neat novelty...way overpriced....but not a the best bush gun.
If you feel safe walking around with three in the pipe......cocked and loaded with just the safety on....then maybe.....but I wouldn't feel safe fishing or hiking with a loaded gun....so you would have to load it just before use...and hopefully you have enough time to do so...in a dangerous situation

There’s a mistake(?) on your website description.. it says that this 12" Triple Threat is "compatible with REMCHOKE chokes", but the barrels aren’t threaded for chokes - they’re smooth like an 870!! Maybe your description refers to the 18" version which comes with chokes.

IMO this is a fairly big deal. The 12" barrels are most useful with improved cylinder or modified. I hope they’re not cyl bore. Do you know what they are??

*The instruction manual is for 18" model and says it accepts chokes
**Also, there’s a rear sling swivel stud but no front sling mount. Am I missing something?

When my wife sees the VISA bill it will be a triple threat alright -- a slap in the head (1) and a kick in the nuts...... (2+3)

Joint account is for groceries and coffee. haha. You should have your own man toy account. That way you can spend all you want. But take it from me, when you have 1-3 packages arriving ever day from Canada Post, questions inevitably get brought up.. Lol

How is it for bear defense? Shoot to space?

Given that it can shoot (3-rounds) as fast as a Benelli M4, I imagine it would be great for any defence. The only problem I can see is with the chokes if you’re shooting shot...they may be cylinder bore - they don’t accept chokes as per the website description).

What a terrible gun. Sure it looks cool, and maybe it wouldn't be bad to bring out to the bush, but nobody brings a $2000 gun out to bang against trees and such. It's essentially nothing more than a conversation piece, and people who like guns and have money like that to blow on paperweights are few and far between.

And on a related note, what's with all this insanely overpriced Chiappa crap lately? Chiappa is not a 2k gun kind of name brand.

how about refinish 2 outlaws and tape, I mean, weld them together? It's gonna look as nice and still much cheaper, with the benefit of an extra 1/4 firepower :shotgun:
