China Made M4 Carbine

Para x2

I hope I am wrong on this. I can't recall where I heard it, but it was gun store counter discussion or range bs. In a large group I may have caught a reference to a different company, or possibly they source some small bits in the US for their guns. Another option, considering today's border restrictions would be for companies to manufacture on both sides. Anything is possible in our modern world of global parts sourcing. Perhaps someone over in handguns knows for sure.

I know gov. and civilian markets are very different, but are we really a too small market for them to make a semi-auto version of their super-high grade rifles & carbines ?

Yes, going by the US export figures for AR-15s, less than 400 are exported to Canada every year, which is peanuts. And why would Colt's start shipping guns down from Canada to sell in the US when they can make them themselves, makes no commercial sense?
