if i pay for NIB thats the way i like it, yes after a few trips to the range it may look like this but? sharpie does not cut it
I can see why you'd be annoyed by something like this on a brand new pistol. If it bothers you, send it back. Having said that, CZ's fit and finish is so-so at best. There's no guarantee that the replacement won't have a cosmetic flaw.
Why not just contact the dealer and send the slide back, there would be no paperwork or registration to deal with
I'd want a new slide or 100$ refund / in store credit if it were me

I’m not saying that the gun itself is crap but the machining is a bit crude. Look at how a CZ is machined and then compare it to, say, a Sig or HK. There’s a big difference.Yeah i now know sharpie does not work sadly haha
Huh really? In my mind CZ product we’re top notch. I had not though about all the restricted unregistering/registering, ATT and all. it is clearly not worth it. Even more if i could end up with another small defect like this one.

What am i gonna do with 100$ of in store credit and a pistol without its slide? Its not like cz shadow 2 optic ready slide we’re as common as glock slide lol
And again that me being petty but i collect milsurp and deep down i want the serial on my pistol to match lol
At this point ill just deal with it. Id rather have a nick on the slide than a mismatched one
You will send them the slide, and they will send you a slide off another shadow 2, they can swap it from another pistol and send you a new one.
What Iam saying is "if I was going to keep the one with a dented" I'd want some sort of compensation, 100$ would be good for me in this situation
Kept the chipped one and used the instore credit To buy a different handgun
The in store credit must of been pretty good ! Was it at least the 100$ to were thinking?
And congrats on a second handgun purchase as well!
I would ask the dealer for a credit for the inconvenience. You can also go right to CZ if the dealer won't do anything. I'm sure they don't want to see sub par finishes getting through quality control.
So the pic is from a BNIB pistol never fired never went to the range. Would you mind such damage on a new pistol? Or would you send it back? Is it even something that can be repaired?

Part of me feel that caring for this is petty, but another part of me feel like, well it is brand new it should look brand new
Feel and thought?
