Choke is stuck

I've removed a grand total of 1 stuck tube for a friend. I soaked the barrel in some acetone /atf mix for a couple of days then mounted it in my lathe between centers a la guntech and using a heat gun to get it too hot to touch I used the chuck to turn the barrel while the tailstock held the wrench in and it squeaked out . He had never had the choke out in 5 years so it was really stuck in there.

By all means, try all methods of penetrant oil, applying heat, holding the choke key in a vice, etc before using a fluted extractor. I have been down this road once. Wasn't much fun.

I use this stuff on my tubes. I've never had a tube even close to being hard to get out.

After reading this thread today, I checked the chokes in my Citori. No problem. I cleaned them up and re-applied and am GTG.
