Christensen Arms = lemon, stay away!

That's real strange. Sorry about the crappy situation hope wanstalls gets it sorted. I googled around and the ca guns sure have a fair amount of glowing reviews. :/

Have you heard from the manufacter ? It's proper that wanstalls stands behind what they sold , but Christensen arms should be stepping in and fixing this immediately , as in do not pass go, do not collect 3100$ and fix my god damm gun now ! 3000$ guns should not need to be worked on or tuned , for that kinda of money there's is no reason it should of left the factory . Best of luck Ernst

That sucks. I've put 2500 +- rounds of everything under the sun through my $1000 ar and the only issues were due to cheap mags. Hope you get it sorted out at the very least they should install a fleshlight in the stock for you.

yes first thing I did was call CA. they then told me the feed ramp issue is a known issue with all their Wylde chambered AR15s, they also said they would replace the bolt release, but that they wanted me to ship them the entire rifle so that they can RMA it. After calling the CFO about this, I decided to deal with Wanstalls instead. There is no way I can ship an entire AR15 firearm to Utah.

And that's whats wrong here. I hear about Americans sending guns back, sometimes more than once for a replacement or refund. In Canada we're pretty much limited to the vendor who sold it. A lot of them go that extra mile but not all.

Ah man, so sorry to hear about your issues Mike. Hopefully they get it all cleared up/repaired/replaced soon and not waiting 4mts for a turn around.

Thanks, I know it facking sucks, I'm pretty much resigned into just saving another 3k for the next 2 months and dropping it on a Noveske or KAC if I can find one soon. I want to do some 3 gun this summer and this is really bumming me out.

I've had dealings with quite a few of their bolt guns.
Some are very accurate, but most had feeding issues from the mags and quality issues like loose cheek rests.
You can certainly get a lot more gun for the money from other manufacturers.

Bummer Mike.
Any manufacturer can let the odd lemon slip through but for the price you paid, you should expect satisfaction and a quick resolution of the problem.
Sometimes satisfaction is a quick refund.

Wanstalls are great people and will look after you , but ca should of had a new part or a serious plan to fix this " known issue " ASAP . It sucks you have to suffer this b.s. But thanks for giving the rest of us fair warning and heads up because I don't know about the rest of you guys but I'm going to steer clear of this company .

1 in 8 Failures to feed, bullets catching on the feed ramps, called CA they mentioned this is a known issue with all their CA15.

I feel your disapointment. I would be very upset laying out that much $ for a rifle with known issues? Obviously unknown to you until after the fact, which sucks big time. You'd think a company selling "high end" firearms would take care of their "known issues" and make sure what goes out the door works flawlessly?

I learned this lesson when I was 24 and I bought a ducati 999, now I just learned the exact same lesson but applied to firearms, i'm tired of having to learn this lesson.

What was wrong with the Ducati? ###y but temperamental Italian? As an aside how was the accuracy?

Ducati pffft it would only start when it would feel like it, never buying that crap again. Much like this Christensen Arms actually...

Back to the rifle sorry excuse for a piece of excrement:
When it would fire it was 1 MOA
When it would not fire it was +infinite MOA

When I saw this thread I thought it was a joke. I'm sorry it wasn't. I'm sure Wanstalls will get it sorted out for you. Still sucks though.

Not a bike guy but kinda thought the Ducati was super cool and if I got a bike it would have been one I wanted as well.

This is the exact reason I post on this site. So others get a heads up. That being said the Christianson Arms is a high end rifle so I'm pretty sure they will make it right. I had one of the barrel retaining bolts snap on my LMT 308 when I went to change the barrel. Bought it NIB off EE. Contacted Questar and LMT. Received responses from both the next day. Questar even send me the replacement free. So there is an advantage to the higher end stuff if something goes wrong. I'm hoping they fix this for you quickly. I know the feeling of getting a new toy that breaks or doesn't work. It sucks. Which reminds me I still need to contact S&W repair centre to replace the take down lever that snapped on my never fired m&p22..

Best of luck. Hope it's fixed quick.

Man you've had some tough luck with some pricey items. When I was the same age I bought a honda cbr 600 it was probably the lowest maintenance vehicle I've ever had lol.
