I thought the restricted length vZ 58's already had chrome lined barrels, and it was just the unrestricted length 858s that didn't have them...

There is more to changing the status of the Vz-58 than simply screwing in a longer barrel....No we will not offer the barrel....
There were many reasons for us being "late" coming on the market with our non-restricted model....
As you are aware there was an issue with cracking receivers for example....
We went through several prototypes and preproduction models before we were satisfied that we had resolved all the problems we knew of.
