Civilian semi-auto Heckler & Koch G36 and future models

Meh, played around with a Bundeswehr example.

They seem like nothing special, they're just featured in a bunch of movies.

Any word on a civvie UMP 45? Or should I start working on my USC conversion?

New update. HKPro member spoke to HK USA rep recently and HK is going to introduce the civilian G36 at the 2014 Shot Show. So the thread says. Thought you guys north of the border might want to know. According to the thread should be available for purchase late next year.

Well. Even they really make the civilain G36 reciver. It will come with 16" barrel only
Most US gun owner don't really want to touch SBR which the barrel shorter than 16"
So I don't think the C or even the K barrel will be avaliable
I highly debate HK will bother to make short barrel version just for tiny Canadain market

Also there is also the rumer said HK is building a brand new reciver which not allow the barrel exchange with current G36 series in order to by pass the stupid assault weapon law

So there are still a lot of unknown

I'll just tell myself my next purchase will be a G36.. That will stop my spending for a little while.
