My new sporting gun has ported barrels on it, short of cleaning each port with a pipe cleaner, is their an easy way to clean them? Or should I even worry about it?
I just wipe the outside of the barrel ports with a cloth dipped in Ed's Red and never a build up of carbon or need to clean the ports individually.
Thanks guys. Sounds like I'm over thinking this one.

In theory, to reduce muzzle jump. In reality, to create excess noise and money for the marketing people.
Oooh...I got a compensator!!! In theory, to reduce muzzle jump. In reality, to create excess noise and money for the marketing people.
I find they offer less muzzle jump but then so does dropping from a 3 dram load to 2 3/4 dram load.
A well designed shotgun has negligible muzzle jump!
