Hey guys,
I got my tavor a couple weeks ago and have tossed about 100 rounds through the pipe. Anyways, I've always been pretty anal about cleaning my guns, making sure I get all the carbon and residue out of everywhere. I find that with the tavor, I just can't access most of the dirt near the gas tube area just above the chamber. Is there an easy way to clean that spot?
I know it's likely not essential as it is a true battle rifle, but my gun cleaning OCD doesn't like seeing it dirty. The chamber is also a little tough to clean to my OCD standards.
Is there an easier way to clean those spots, and also is it even worth it to do so?
Also, how often do you tavor owners clean your rifle?
Thanks!
