Client loaner rifles

Angus
For moose , elk , whitetail and black bear a 308 has served me well , picked up a stainless laminate blr takedown in 358 win , 18 barrel , has failed to let me down . However I am a big fan of 308 win . In the right hands deadly on all North American big game although not a real long range rig I find it ideal and easy to find ammo for. My favorite is the 300 wm , easy to get ammo and very predictable , mod 70 or ruger and I would look at the Kimber hunter also . Me I know my limits and that is why I am moving into your Adirondack , light , fast , accurate . And suitable for the area I hunt , the Adirondacks are 45 mins south and I hunt I hr north, very similar terrain , if I am sitting the 300 wm or the 375 sits with me for moose , 7mm mag is very popular in Ontario for moose

Another vote for the XBolt , stainless , accurate , great trigger , exceptionally strong scope mounting system - no one looks after your stuff like you do . Mines in 300 WM , did a lot of research and went away from the 7mm I was going to buy.

In your experience of using the Winchester Classic line of rifles have you ever had an extractor fail ? As in not enough tension on the case rim. I understand they are not of the same quality as the pre 64’s . I have a first year production Stainless Classic in 7mm mag and have not experienced any issues but it is not subjected to the harsh conditions your firearms are.

Mr Morrison,
You a first class guy, run an excellent business no doubt, and charge a good buck for your services.
How many loaner rifles do you need to have in camp at any one time?
2 maximum 3 maybe. If I am forking out serious cash to be with you, be real nice to have a Cooper waiting for me to shoot.....

Regards Greg

My E.W. Winchester is my favorite rifle. It is everything I want in a gun. Some people with smaller hands dont like the stocks thicker wrist area, but it is a small detail. It is SOOOO accurate.
