Collectable US M14Rifles and Government Ban

Regardless, the number of rifles imported is known and the number registered is also known and those two numbers are nowhere close to being equal.

At the height of the registry, the CFC claimed 95% compliance when the number of firearms registered reached 30% of the number of firearms known to have been imported to Khan-Eh-Duh since 1970.

According to the gov't all of the firearm in the country before 1970 ceased to exist...along with the 70% after.... consider it Lieberal Majjic.

A friend of mine told me that he personally sold more FN-FAL rifles than the total which are registered in Khan-Eh-Duh...

One of the local native bands paid for their FN's in enough gold that the shop owner phoned his New York broker after hours for the spot price of gold...

12x everything are safe and from my understanding 12.6 handguns can still be bought and sold after ban as its part of a different OIC.
The burning question is if they start banning handguns outright by lower level government, does that effect 12x too.
Our gun laws are a mess

No. 12.6 are handguns. c-21 explicitly states no more issuing registration certificates for handguns, it doesn't say 'restricted'. So no more 12.6 transfers and worse yet in one fell swoop no more 12.7 inheritance...

I'm not trying to be a d_ck. Just making sure 12.6 holders know to pass their eligible for 12.7 guns to their kids _now_.

I understand what your saying but i dont know it that was actual plan, poorly written laws as per norm. Still thinking it refers to restricted not prohibited. Regulations would have to detail that C21 cancels out a previous OIC. Grandfathered owners can trade, sell etc between themselves. I cant see 12.2 or 12.3 M14 effected either. They are their own class. Same reasons someone cant buy one. Did someone get a revocation letter on a 12.3 m14

They are not affected. Have been seeing them sold at auctions after the OIC. But the mechanism of the OIC was to prohibit guns that were not. 12.2 and 12.3 were prohibited already, their certificates did not get 'nullified' (eye roll)

Either way, we will find out. But I'm not as optimistic as you.

I have one in the system right now started the transfer last week with a Winchester m14 an Ar 10 and a FnFAL ill see what happens and how long it takes my last FN ...5 years

Yep and all i needed to do was weld in a safety sear ...i was on the phone with them quite often about it and when they told what i needed to do i gave them hell ...i said it took you 5 years years to open the gun and see all that was needed was the safety sear welded in ? I asked how i could get a job like that where i just sat on my ass and mess with ppl ....they did not like that lol maybe this time it will take 10 years .i dont expect to hear anything for a while but thats ok its not like i can take them to the range anytime soon ..or ever

everyone trys to nickle dime you to death over these type of military surplus guns
better off vanishing with them

Rcmp has asked for pics of the conversions i will be doing it Friday night and sending them asap.keep u in the loop

Rcmp wants a bit more done to the rifles they want a bead of weld on the Fn and Ar10 selectors so they cannot be removed from the rifles they want a steel bead or washer welded inside the ar 10 where the sear holes are now heres a problem ...my welder who has been welding for years says you cant weld steel to aluminum im not sure what to do here and on the m14 the auto trip by the hammer needs to be ground ....

My question is; does the rcmp Care ,or even know if aluminum can,t mate to steel? Weren't these guns previously checked by a gunsmith with affidavits supplied years ago? Always moving the goal post to freeze people out!

Yes they have a list of what was done to the rifles but it does not meet todays standard ...i should post the message they sent me making it sound almost like they are doing us a favor making sure they cant he converted back....i think they forgot we cant legally shoot them anymore anyway

put an aluminum pin in the selector hole and use an aluminum welder to weld it in place
you coluld welld the pistol grip screw so you cannot take out the selector

They want steel i have a plan and its easy and should work well and hopefully not hurt the finish too much...
