Hi

They are clearly marked as for Colt 1911 pistols we are not advertising them as Colt manufactured with a Colt name on them. Please send them all back to us for a full refund plus your return shipping cost we will issue the refund as soon as we get the magazines.

Thank You for Everything

That is what lead to this confusion. Your add says Colt 1911 Magazines for sale. It doesnt say 1911 mags for sale that fit Colt 1911 pistols. You need to be more clear in your add, list them as they are, 1911 mags made by Chip Mccormick. I appriciate your willingness to offer a full refund, but In this case I wont accept. Its not about the money, as its only 200 bux, i was just pissed that i didnt get what was advertised. I'll I ask is that you amend your add so that others dont get confused into thinking the same as me.

Colt does not currently make magazines and hasn't made them in decades. Even if you get one with a pony stamped on it, you can be confident that it was made by a subcontractor.

Thats fine, As i got two with the pony on it, with my new colt. But they work. These mags dont.

IF a mod is watching, Corwin-Arms asked me to delete this thread, but i dont have that power. Ill leave that up to you. Other then the confusion over these mags, I have nothing bad to say about Corwin arms. The reason they didnt get back to me right away, was they were in Edmonton at a gun show. This all seems to be a miss communication, I feel partly to blame for not asking more questions and just assuming they were colt manufacturered mags. I consider the matter closed, thanks to Corwn-Arms for their offer.

I have 1911 mags from a number of different manufacturers. I would rank the Chip Mc. mags as one of the best. So if you did not get what you expected/wanted, at least you probably got a good mag.

I dont know who made these mags for sure, im assuming Chip Mccormick cause if the shooting star logo on the follower. However, i can tell you 100 percent, they are not good mags, they dont want to fit in the gun, unless you slam them in, and they wont hold the slide open when empty. They are low end mags, as two others have stated that have purchased the same mags from the same supplier.

This isnt Corwin-Arms fault as they got them in bulk from a US supplier. Id love to know what was written on that box.
