Colt Canada C8 versus Everybody Else!

Stripped down my brand new SA20 for Froglube treatment today, figured I'd share some Colt #### :)
Build quality is exceptional, my only complaint is the charging handle is average, might look at an upgrade once I've run a few hundred rounds. The barrel is massive, about the same width as the heavy barrel on my 308.

Work, family and duck hunting will probably keep me from a proper range visit with this until late September but based on reports so far, I'm sure it will be a great shooter.

Best groupings I am getting for 5 shots groups is 1.34, 1.02 and 1.3 (from memory) using Varget with a velocity of 2800. 2 consecutive 5 round groups (rifle removed from rest in between) printed 1.45. All at 100.

Here is the last pair of groupings. Fired 5, then circled those with a marker. Fired another 5.

I like your way of thinking but it will never happen, especially now that the service rifle is select fire.

IIRC, in the past Queens Medal winners were presented with a rifle, but I doubt that has happened since the early to mid 70's.
