I know what are the odds of running into an issue but lets face it things break. Make me rethink keeping any CC stuff I have that may need replacement parts and go with something else that is readily available for parts if needed. I think it would apply for anyone who truly uses their stuff and are not safe queens

CC has written on this board many time they will continue to handle all warranty and repairs.
Its a lifetime warranty on the SA rifles anyway.
 
I have a question about the IUR, I saw their is a place for an allen key on the gas block, Before I unscrew it and break something can someone tell me what its for. ?

I believe it is for removing the gas tube because the IUR has a straight gas tube not like all other AR GAS TUBES which are shaped
 
I was wondering about this ...so , I guess I'll keep popping into this thread for any developments. I have an SA15.7, love it, and an IUR on the way. Anyone know where I can get a Colt / CC C8 detachable handle or triad mount?

This planet apparently. The differences between Canada and the USA when it comes to what you refer to as bankruptcy are significant. We have CCAA and they have have Chapter 11. What happens to Colt Defense is of little concern to Colt Canada who will continue to operate pretty much unimpeded. It is rather unlikely Colt Defense would have used their Colt Canada interest as collateral to US Bondholders.

At this point in time the used market. Perhaps the EE here.
 
Three retailers here just dropped the price on the IUR down to $899 today, some with free shipping, some with free mags, any reason the big push to get rid of these? Something new coming in? Or a break from the wholesaler?

Kool aid is getting stale ,dealers need to move product and move on to products that sell faster .

Plus, it doesn't help that CC canned their entire forum postings, along with alot of talk about them. No talk, no sell.

But what do they care? They unloaded them all on dealers, so its their problem now. Nice way to do business, CC.

Well Colt Canada unloaded them on O'Dell. Who then sold them to THEIR dealers. If you follow O'DELL on their Facebook page you will see recent posts advising more CC product is on the way.

Several manufacturers don't sell direct to the public.
 
I wish they would speak more to this... I don't need promises, just a general idea of whats planned. Sure would make me 'feel' a lot better. ick, facebook ... they need to come to CGN.

11.5 and 14.5 IURs were asked for by a poster... O'Dell's said stay tuned. Another asked for accessories, and was also told stay tuned. Sounds like they are hoping for it. I asked for specifics, and was also told to stay tune for the near future and coming months.

They are working for product. Give the history, I think they ask for everything and hope they can get what little they do. What was made clear is that like the CF hand guard release, or the IUR, stock could be readily available for a while, or very very limited and gone in short order.
