Agreed. Cool as a complete gun, but the SA15.7 really does look like an after thought. Not far off the look of the "A2" on a C7A2 though.

If it was a proper roll mark to match the rest of the markings it would be cooler.

I don't mind it, similar to the C7A2 like fenceline said and to the anchor on my P226 or the <556 DDMK18 on my upper so I think they'll pair well.
what I would've liked to see tho is both english and français because CANADA.

I ordered some steel targets but I don't know if I'll get it in time, so if you have some steel targets bring em with you.
Range 2 (100yards) and 4(20 yards) are open from 8 to 4pm from what I can tell on their calendar.

Just reserved a stripped CC lower from a site sponsor in southern Ontario. Very happy.

We know that the Colt Canada stripped lowers are in fact SA lowers, FRT states that they are SA15.7 model. I was wondering that since the CC SA is limited at a 1000 units, are they randomly serialized between #1 & 999 or if they go beyond #999, that would confirm a production over run?

If anyone who either saw them in store or have them in hand can chime in.

My strip unmarked lowers are # 0045* # 0045*

Registered as SA15.7's

One member here has an Sa15.7 marked lower with serial # 0100*

Either these did not pass Q.C for complete riffles or They just made more in case they had issues while building them.

Thanks for the reply. That makes it quite plausible that these are QC "rejects" that didn't make it as complete guns.

Interesting, I wonder if they kept some kind of list of which serials were sold as what exactly.

CC had to make more so they had the ~10% QC issue covered anyway. Just like any contract.
