^^^ Dudes got some good points.
^ defintely, but when Colt Canada offers these awesome rifles to our Mil./LEO customers (who were the reason for making them available in the first place) and then sells them w/o a discount and a short time later offers the discount screwing the loyal who bought first, it stings.
Then when Colt Canada brings a rare and again awesome piece of kit such as the IUR 15.7" upper to market stating in limited quantities for a short time then offers more and more then finally at significantly reduced prices, again it stings.
They offer CC lowers with no BCG and IUR uppers so we can hopefully build a IUR w/o having to strip SA rifles which some felt were necessary as no CC lowers were available...
Then they offer the IUR as a complete rifle w/o CC BCG and a non-CC lower, then with a CC lower but still no BCG and now finally a CC lower and CC BCG all for less then the reduced prices of the SA 20 complete rifle.
Don't get me wrong I love CC rifles, used one in our reserve forces for years and saw firsthand how tough and accurate they were. It's just that they way they brought all these items to market has been less then acceptable in my and several other CGN'ers eyes.
Saying all this I still do want a complete 11.6" IUR rifle when and if they become available, but I definitely won't be jumping for the first wave of prices they come out with, that's for sure.
