According to the OttawaCitizen article, the two ones going to be sale will be C7A2 20 inch barrel and the other will be a commercial version of the C8A3 carbine in 15.8 inch barrel

These two look more like a 16" and a 10" version compared to the Colt Canada C7's coming in at 20" and 15.7", not that I wouldn't mind either one of these compact carbines.

Probably, as they (LMT) also have the patent issued in Canada.,... that is unless Colt doesn't think the patent's enforceable.....

Point is certain US made Colts go for 1 grand in the US.

Therefore Canadian made Colts sold in Canada = ...

I don't know why you keep saying they are a $1000. They were only a $1000 when they went on sale. The last ones I saw at Walmart in AZ were in the $1200 and up range. Walmart purchased 60,000 69XX series rifles. For the most part they are sold out. You probably won't see those prices again unless they purchase another 60,000 rifles.

Yup.

Its either they just switched their internet connection package and got the performance metrics wrong..... or more likely... the interest in their recent product launches is bigger than they thought (which could be great news for black rifles in Canada).
