Colt Canada rifles to the public?

That was a deal compared to overpriced Diemaco stamped versions , the distributor is a little too high on their profit margin would make better on quantity sold if the price was cheaper and I Run Guns deal shows that.

I was thinking the Diemaco ones were pretty overboard on the price too. As far as an AR goes, the parts seem pretty standard (handgaurds, normal looking carbine stock). It's also missing the small tri-rail that clamps to to the barrel and front sight. There seem to be a lot of better AR's for $2,000. Just my opinion though.

Nay for me too, really not worth the $$ asked. It does make me feel bad for the poor fools who spent years and tons of $$ to built a Diemaco/C-7clone which is now pretty much worthless because the "real thing" is available.

Except they are exact - markings, green, Elcan, back up sight, triad. They aren't selling either. Did anyone else noticed these don't have Norgons? Anyone?

From some of the pictures dealers have posted some have the ambi controls on them.

There will be more coming for sure. Things are slow now in the US. So more Colt deals or really the standard real pricing will be available again.

The AR bubble has burst. Most dealers in the US are over stocked. The AR market is dead for the most part. Some manufactures are suck with huge orders that have been cancelled.

Too bad the couldn't broker the C79 too. It's pretty obsolete now and there's better Elcans out there. These rifles with optics nobody would sneeze. I can't imagine why anyone in the military would buy one as a trainer unless set up like their work gun.

Amazing. Just amazing. People were complaining for years about not having access to Diemaco/Colt Canada products. Now one is available and people are picking it apart and complaining about it.

How much money did people spend(waste) on making clones? They seem to be the ones with their hate on for the real deal.

Also, isn't the Norgon an aftermarket part in the first place, not made by Colt Canada? Same goes with the tri-rail.

Maybe some of us just think that Canadian gun owners have it hard enough as it is without being priced gouged by our own. From where I stand we're just trying to figure out how Colt Canada can justify such an outrageous cost without all of the features.

Norgon is supposably bankrupt. Colt Canada purchased a license to manufacture it.

I don't think people are complaining about the rifle so much as the price.

I have gone from "I want it" to "I'm not so sure I want to pay that for it" like the majority of people in this thread.

In a way it's funny that people will pay $1000 for a $300 T97 and then turn around and say this is too much for a CC but that's the nature of the beast...

I couldn't give a phuck about the CADEX crap anyway. They have nothing to do with CC and were garbage parts IMO but.... most of this is the replica appeal so, it wouldn't have killed them to add those bits for the sake of it.

Read the specs. These aren't just "close" to mil-spec... They ARE mil-spec. A Colt LE6920 is a not a true M4 minus automatic fire. It's a commercial clone that comes "close" to a mil-spec M4. The Diemaco on the other hand is starting to look like a full out mil-spec C7/C8 minus the selector.

We will wait and see I suppose.

It's not price as much as price for what you get. The company is selling their rifles far and wide with all the bells and whistles. They have those parts in stock. For the price they >should< be included. Sourcing these small items at $200-$300 + to the price.

I am wondering to what they compare in the ar wold. I just have a hard time seeing how this is worth 600$ more then a Daniel Defence?
